All rooms and facilities overlook Lake Kivu and have access to the lush and well maintained garden. Complimentary to your stay, you can enjoy free access to the fully equipped gym.
The unique charm and cosy mood of Emeraude Kivu Resort make it a perfect venue for a comfortable stay, business meetings and training workshops.
By Bus (upto 8 Hours): This is the cheapest yet most extended way to get to Emeraude Kivu Resort. You can board a bus at Nyabugogo in Kigali and drop off at the Rusizi bus station. You can take a motorbike “moto” from the bus station to the resort or hire a car locally, or we can facilitate your transfer from the bust station.
Using a car is more convenient, comfortable and hustle free. The road is considerably smooth though it has some very sharp turns and curves so your driver should be careful. Using a car is shorter than using the bus, and if you have extra time on your schedule, you can make stops along the way to enjoy various fascinating sites.
This is obviously the most expensive but faster way to get to the resort.
There are domestic flights offered by RwandAir from Kigali. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, there are about 2 Flights a week but in normal times, there is a daily flight. We offer free airport transfers to and from the resort.
